Caity Olsen was born in San Francisco, CA, and moved to Port Angeles at the age of 4 due to her father being a member of the United States Coast Guard. She attended K-12 in the Port Angeles School District.
While attending Port Angeles High School, Caity was a part of the Wind Ensemble where she played flute and piccolo. During her time in the group, she had the chance to go to Washington D.C., where the Wind Ensemble earned the highest honors in adjudication. She earned her Letter in music, and graduated high school with Music Honors.
After working in the financial industry, she was given the opportunity to return to school. She attended Peninsula College in Port Angeles where she earned two Associate of Applied Science degrees in Web Design and Graphic Design, along with certificates in design, web development and photography.
Caity loves animals. She has a Boxer named Beau, and has been adopted by her boyfriend’s cat, Opie. She loves to read, watch movies, and spend time with her family.
Caity enjoys creating artwork on her computer, crafting handmade cards and taking photos. She has entered photography into the Clallam County Fair, earning a blue ribbon. Also, she was featured in the 2014 Tidepools Magazine at Peninsula College, and received 1st place.
Caity is now a Licensed Sales Producer in Washington for Property & Casualty Insurance. Before she came to Matt Elwood’s Allstate Agency, she worked as an Assistant Representative Payee for Concerned Citizens and a teller at Chase Bank here in Port Angeles.
